Colours of Garage Doors

At Huddersfield Garage Doors, we understand that not everyone wants the same colour garage door for their home. Whilst many will stick to more traditional colours such as white, blue, grey, black and timber effect, there will be some who may want to match their garage door with a different colour, such as those of windows, parts of their home, or their granddaughters favourite pink Barbie – yes this was once a request.

For a number of years we have been able to offer over 300 different RAL colours to ensure that we can effectively match the colour of your brand new garage door, whether it is electronically or manually operated. This allows us to perfectly match any colour through a number system and ensure it will be an exact match time and time again. (Colour fading off of other parts of the home could mean it is not 100% perfect).

In recent years, the increase in the number of colours available has led to some homeowners going for outlandish illuminous colours such as orange and greens, or matching them to subtle colours of brick work which makes the door blend in to the exterior part of your home seamlessly.

What people often forget is that the garage door, by tradition, is the single biggest component of the exterior of the house. As a result it is important that any colour choice is correct to not only conform to your wishes, but that it doesn’t make your house look ridiculous.
